SHU launches Digital Industry Day for students and employers.

Uni careers day on 22nd Feb is open to local digital companies.

The department of computing at Sheffield Hallam University is inviting local digital employers to take part in an inaugural Digital Industry Day and promote their career opportunities.

The event is called STACK and will be a combination of students’ work with a careers event. The University is inviting employers to come and see all the great projects they have been creating over the year. During the day they will have displays, demos, live project management and guest speakers from past alumni and beyond.

By being part of the day, employers will be able to talk directly to students about their work, and get a real understanding of the University’s diverse programme of courses. They are expecting a great turn out from students and there will be plenty of opportunities to network.

As part of the event, there will be a number of market place stands (available from 10am – 1pm) where employers can promote their companies and opportunities. The stands are free to use and available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Venue:  Cantor Atrium, located in the Sheffield Hallam University City Campus
