Membership

Sheffield Digital does not receive any public sector funding – we want to make sure the organisation is sustainable and stays independent.

The generous support of our founder members allowed us to get the organisation up and running in 2016. Since then, we have proved that there is value in providing a focal point and voice for Sheffield’s digital community. We are now the go-to organisation when local and regional policy makers want to connect with digital businesses. We are representing the needs of digital companies on issues relating to education, skills and talent. We are promoting the city’s grassroots organisations and its businesses. We are helping people to connect and collaborate, to start up and to grow.

If you agree that these things are valuable and important, then you can demonstrate your support by becoming a member.

Membership is open to individuals and to companies – there are more details below. We’ve tried to keep membership as simple as possible; you can choose the type and level of membership you feel is most appropriate. You can pay your subscription monthly or annually.

Who can be a member?

Individuals  – anyone who’s interested in digital. You don’t have to be working or studying in the industry (and you don’t need to know how to code).

Companies – Company membership is for businesses that produce or provide digital products or services as a core part of their operation. If you are a non-digital business and would like to support us, please see the information about becoming an Associate Sponsor.

What does membership provide?

The main reason to subscribe is because you want to support our work. But, in addition, we’ll provide:
