Team SY and the Digital Media Centre (DMC) are bringing together creative minds from across the region to innovate and develop solutions for a more sustainable future. This free three-day event from 19-21 May is open to those who have a GreenTech idea they want to explore further, and to those who want to get involved in a sustainable project.

What to expect

Taking place at The Hallam i-Lab in Sheffield, ‘Give it a go GreenTech’ is an opportunity to explore innovative ideas, build disruptive solutions, learn new skills, and connect with like-minded people.

There will be industry expertise and coaching support throughout as you come up with a prototype for your product or service. At the end, you will pitch your ideas to a panel of industry experts, for a chance to go home with a prize.

This is a themed event that focuses on finding new and innovative solutions for problems centered around the 17 UN Sustainable Development goals. These include sustainable cities and communities, climate action, and good health and well-being. Solutions can be technical or non-technical and you’ll build a basic design or Minimal Viable Product in 48 hours.

Give it a go GreenTech is a great chance to find co-founders, team members, and collaborators for your GreenTech initiative or startup, to gain new skills and experience, and to meet experts in sustainability.
