The Children’s Media Conference 2024 is coming

Sheffield Digital members can save £150 on tickets to this iconic event.

The annual Children’s Media Conference (CMC) is back in Sheffield from 9-11 July 2024. Established in 2004, this is the only gathering in the UK for everyone involved in developing, producing and distributing content to kids – on all platforms. As longterm supporters of this landmark event, Sheffield Digital is delighted to offer our members a discount on tickets.

The CMC welcomes delegates from across the world, working in film, TV, radio, interactive media, games, licensing, toys, book and magazine publishing, the arts and culture sector and educational media.

With the usual packed agenda featuring high-profile keynotes, workshops, sessions, videos and networking, this year’s CMC promises to be the best and most cost-effective way of meeting people in your industry to share relevant insights and information.

What can you expect to see at CMC 2024?

Keynotes include musician, broadcaster and philanthropist, YolanDa Brown OBE, and award-winning co-founder and Creative Director of Cartoon Saloon, Nora Twomey. This year’s ‘SkillBuilder’ workshop is focussed on storytelling and creating inspiring and empowering content for children around climate change.

The International Exchange returns to Sheffield in person for 2024 and is designed for anyone looking for international sales, partnerships or project funding. The International Exchange will bring together a wide range of broadcasters, co-producers, funders and investors from across the world, keen to meet those providing content and services.

We’re delighted to see the return of the CMC’s ‘Playground’ which, for 2024, will be in the form of an interactive character hunt across 15 locations in Sheffield for children and families. Taking place just before the Conference (3-30 June), The Urban Dwellers / Playground AR Character Hunt is totally free for children and families to enjoy as they explore fantastical augmented reality artworks and animated installations from legendary steel-city artists TADO and Lisa O’Hara.

How to get your discounted tickets
