Mel KanarekNews15th August 2017digital economyRegional PartnershipSheffield City Council We’re delighted to announce that Sheffield City Council is joining us as a Regional Partner. Sheffield Digital has always had a good working relationship with the Council, but their decision to formalise that into a Regional Partnership is really encouraging. It shows that the Council recognises the importance of the sector and is keen to work alongside our industry for the good of the City. You can read more about our partnership with Sheffield City Council here. Meanwhile, we’re working on some plans for joint activity in the autumn, which we hope to be able to tell you more about in the next few weeks. This will include another Policy Conflab in September. Until then, we’d like to say some specific ‘thank yous’ to Councillor Olivia Blake, deputy leader of Sheffield City Council, Councillor Mazher Iqbal, cabinet member for business and investment, Mark Gannon, director, business change and information solutions and Victoria Penman, economic policy office at Creative Sheffield.
