CMC Playground returns

Where kids can get hands on with digital creativity.

After it’s highly successful first appearance last year, Playground returns to the Children’s Media Conference from 4th to 9th July at the Cantor Gallery.

Playground is an exhibition of digital art which you can interact with, plus there’s a Maker Space were you can make your own digital art. You’ll get to explore interactive digital art pieces, games, apps and virtual reality headsets all specially designed for children and families.

This year’s Playground looks even better than last year, with a huge variety of games, VR and making to get your hands on.

The exhibition has been curated for 5-12 year olds, however everyone is welcome to drop-in during the gallery’s opening hours and it is free. Schools can bring groups by booking in advance.

The Cantor Gallery is in the ground floor of Sheffield Hallam University’s Cantor Building, 153 Arundel Street, Sheffield.

Visit the Playground website for more information.

The Children’s Media Conference runs from 4th to 6th July and brings media people from all over the world to Sheffield. Sheffield Digital readers can get a discount on conference passes – see this blog post for details.
