An Accounting and Finance Bootcamp from Shorts

To mark Sheffield Digital Festival, Shorts is helping tech businesses get to grips with their finances, from early growth stages, through to preparing to sell.

The Sheffield-based accountants had planned to deliver a two-part virtual bootcamp as part of last week’s festival. Unfortunately they were unable to go ahead with the event, and instead have recorded the presentations they prepared and compiled them into one detailed yet concise video, perfect for watching during your lunch hour.

The video guides you through the lifespan of a tech business, from the early stages, through to growth and maturity, and up to the stage of preparing to sell the business.

Throughout the journey, you are given practical advice and suggestions about how you can use and manage your finances to support growth and business success. You’ll hear from experts within different teams at Shorts, including Corporate FInance, the Business Taxes Team, and their Radius R&D Tax Relief specialists.

Take a look at the video below, and scroll down to see the timestamps for each different section, allowing you to skip ahead to the information that is relevant for your business.
