Who we’re Looking For 

We’re looking for a mid-level full stack developer who’s excited by the prospect of working on multiple greenfield projects every month! In particular we’re looking for someone who’s willing to get their hands dirty and handle all aspects of the development lifecycle for the Minimum Viable Products that we develop for our clients. The successful candidate will be just as comfortable working in a team as well as taking full responsibility for a project. If that sounds like you, fire over your CV! 

About Us 

Verticode specialises in building fast & affordable software Minimum Viable Products for aspiring Founders, existing Startups and established Businesses. We’re a young, growing company with an expanding team! We are passionate about our mission to help innovators get their MVPs launched and into the market more easily than ever before. 

Verticode turns the tables on traditional software development by setting quick build times (2-3 weeks) with an affordable and transparent pricing model.

However, when we’re not disrupting the software MVP space, we also like to get together regularly as a company for a social. Individually, we are focused on personal development and always setting sights on the next skill, certification or professional development goal that team members can achieve. We’re all about forward momentum. 

Role

• Work with a project manager to deliver multiple greenfield products every month
• Maintain existing software products for our clients (not legacy code bases, still in our modern tech stack!)
• Assist with the development of the Verticode software acceleration toolkit
• Lead the development of new features and functionality. We’re always building something new we’ve not done before
• As an early hire for the business, you will grow with us! You will have the opportunity to onboard new hires and mentor junior engineers.

Key Technical Skills & Experience

• Professional experience in end to end full stack development
• Experience of working in, or with, early stage companies is desirable but not essential
• Experience in our tech stack is desirable but not essential. We’re very happy to upskill the right candidate

Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 depending on experience.
