We’re really looking forward to this first DigixSpaces event from our regional partner, Spaces Acero, later this month. The topic will change for each meetup, but the first focus is going to be on machine learning and AI. It takes place on 31 January, tickets are available now with a discount on offer for Sheffield Digital members.
About DigixSpaces
Last October, we were thrilled to welcome Acero Spaces as the latest Sheffield Digital regional partner. We knew it was a chance to work with them on a range of ideas and projects, so it’s great to see the first of those out in the wild.
The idea behind DigixSpaces is to provide a regular tech event in Sheffield that covers a wide range of subjects by changing focus each time. The city’s meetup scene is thriving and this is another opportunity for the community to come together, learn and hatch new plans.
What’s in store for the first event?
The first DigixSpaces will be a chance to hear four fantastic talks about the journey from initial idea to the execution of a product all based around machine learning. Here is some more information from the Spaces team:
“The developments in Artificial Intelligence have taken the world by storm dispersing into industries that we never expected it to, as well as streamlining business processes. But are these advancements something to be scared of? Will they jeopardise our jobs? Should we really be handing over so much data about ourselves?
“At our first edition of DigixSpaces all these questions will get answered by our hand picked selection of innovative speakers who operate in a range of industries to display their varied levels of expertise and stories.”
