Sheffield Chamber and Sheffield College are holding a digital and creative media careers fair for young people aged 14-24 and are keen for local businesses to get involved.

The event takes place on Friday 19th February, from 10am to 2pm, at the College’s new CDM campus in Hillsborough.

The aim of the event is to inspire, enthuse and motivate young people to think about the prospective careers and employment options available to them and encourage them to make the most of their remaining time in education.

This is a great opportunity for local digital businesses to get in front of prospective future employees and help them (and their parents and teachers) understand the range of options available to them in the digital industries. The organisers are keen for businesses to bring demonstrations of the products and services they offer, as well a “Have a Go” interactive activity for young people to get involved in.

It’s free to participate and you get a 2m x 2m space, power, internet, tables and chairs, free on-site parking and refreshments. Most importantly, you get the opportunity to meet some of the “stars of tomorrow” and inspire the next generation of talent.
