Website awesome.
We’re on a mission to become one of the UK’s leading creative agencies across content, design, and development, partnering with both businesses and the public sector. To help drive that vision, we’re looking for a talented, versatile Mid to Senior Full-Stack Developer with exceptional PHP, Laravel, and React skills to help us deliver outstanding digital experiences and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
You’ll work closely with our design, content, and strategy teams to bring ideas to life, building everything from websites to web and mobile apps, internal tools, and immersive 3D web experiences. We’ve already partnered with global names like Warner Music and The Carlyle Group, as well as public institutions including Barnsley Council, the National Coal Mining Museum, and The University of Sheffield.
This isn’t your average dev role. We’re looking for someone ready to play a key role in our growth, someone ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to become a driving force in our journey to becoming a creative industry leader.
You should be someone who:
- Builds modern web apps using Laravel and React
- Can create robust, secure APIs with Laravel Passport, and understands the principles behind OAuth 2 and security best practices
- Brings Figma designs to life as visually impressive, animation-rich websites
- Writes clean, maintainable front-end code using Sass and follows BEM conventions for scalable CSS architecture
- Has a solid understanding of accessibility standards, or is keen to learn how to implement them properly
- Is comfortable managing servers using deployment tools like Laravel Forge and Envoyer
- Knows their way around setting up a Ubuntu web server via the command line
- Is confident working with Git for version control, and has experience using Redis and MySQL in production environments
- Has a love–hate relationship with Jira (we get it)
- Enjoys collaborating with designers and other creative minds to make great work happen
Is a natural leader who’s excited by the opportunity to help grow the development team and eventually step into a management role
Where will you be working?
You can work from home, our Sheffield office, or our Barnsley office. We do ask that you’re within easy travel distance of Barnsley and Sheffield, as we’ll have monthly in-person meetups and on-site days when required for client workshops or team sessions.
Why awesome.?
Now in our 9th year, we’re expanding our in-house creative team while staying true to our people-first ethos. We value work-life balance and invest in our team’s development because happy, supported people make awesome work.
