Episode 24 of the Sheffield Digital Podcast features an interview with Iain Simons, director of the National Videogame Museum (NVM) which has just opened in our fair city.
We spoke to Iain from the NVM itself on the day of the launch. It’s a fascinating insight into the process of opening such a brilliant new addition to Sheffield’s tech and cultural landscape. Iain covers a range of topics, including his previous work at the National Videogame Arcade in Nottingham, young people and gaming, and of course, why and how the NVM came to Sheffield. Listen up – you’ll love it!
As always, in part two of the show you can hear Mel and Chris talk about what they’ve been up to on behalf of Sheffield’s digital community. We also run through all the upcoming events and meetups in the city.
