After a successful comeback, we have more Showcases planned and you can get involved.

Last month saw the return of the Sheffield Digital Showcase, an event for anyone working or interested in the city’s tech scene and a chance to find out what exciting projects are happening. We heard from companies including BOW and MOPO who spoke on a wide range of topics, from the role of battery swap tech in fighting climate change, to building a universal software for robots.

Hosted at Sheffield Technology Parks, the seventh Sheffield Digital Showcase was held on Tuesday 19 March 2024. The event included four lightning talks and an interview hosted by Chris Dymond from Sheffield Digital, followed by food, drinks and conversations.

It was a busy, friendly meetup and attendees were keen to chat and make use of the networking time before and after the talks. Following this success, we are really pleased to share that there will be more Showcase events throughout the year and, if you missed last month’s event, you can watch all of the talks over on our YouTube page.

The next Sheffield Digital Showcase will take place towards the end of June. We love having variety in our lineups and showcasing work that people might not expect to be happening here; projects that are unique, innovative and delivering impact.
