As a Technical Architect at Razor, you’ll bridge the gap between clients’ business needs and technical solutions. You’ll bring your wealth of experience (and probably a few war stories) to help clients navigate their challenges and design high-level architectures that are strategic and technical.

From project kick-off to delivery, you’ll be the glue that keeps everything together, making sure solutions not only meet today’s problems but also set clients up for future success, so they’ll keep coming back for more!

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and define end-to-end technical approaches that solve real business problems;
• Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Lead the definition of project scope, delivery milestones and timelines in collaboration with internal and client teams;
• Ensure technical solutions are both commercially viable and strategically sound;
• Translate business requirements into structured technical tasks for engineers within the Production team;
• Run internal project kick offs, ensuring the delivery team is aligned with the client’s objectives and expectations;
• Act as the primary technical lead throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining strong communication between internal teams and external stakeholders;
• Identify and manage technical risks, aligning all parties and keeping delivery on track;
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and choose tools and approaches that best meet the client’s needs;
• Ensure architectural decisions and implementations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards;
• Consider non-functional requirements (such as scalability, performance and security);
• Support and guide fellow engineers, offering technical mentorship and resolving architectural or design challenges;
• Own and maintain all relevant technical documentation, both for internal use and client reference.

Your experience

• A track record of solving complex technical challenges while keeping delivery timelines and budgets on course;
• Deep experience in designing and architecting scalable solutions, with the ability to translate high level concepts into practical, technical blueprints;
• Strong commercial awareness: you understand how technical choices impact business outcomes and ensure alignment with client goals;
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and running client facing workshops;
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills; bridging the gap between business and technology.
