We’re seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our Student Systems team. You’ll collaborate with Product Teams, Developers, and stakeholders across the University to design, develop, test, and enhance systems that support thousands of students throughout their academic journey.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing, developing and enhancing mission-critical student applications using best practice methodologies
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers and business stakeholders to prioritise and deliver user requirements
- Integrate systems with external providers to create seamless digital experiences
- Contribute to technical policies, procedures and strategic planning within IT Services
- Provide mentoring and support to junior team members, sharing your expertise
- Stay current with sector developments through conferences, forums and professional networks
- Support the Student Systems Team Leaders with additional projects as needed
- Embed sustainability and ethical decision-making into your work, supporting the University’s broader mission
