Website Reach Studios
We have an exciting opportunity for a Front-End Developer with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for crafting high-quality web experiences.
About the Role
We’re looking for a developer with at least three years of experience in front-end development who takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and is eager to contribute to a variety of projects.
In this role, you’ll work on websites, web applications, and integrations, building performant and scalable solutions for our clients. You’ll be expected to anticipate challenges, identify potential improvements, and take initiative in finding solutions—whether that’s optimizing performance, improving workflows, or enhancing user experiences.
You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Our Tech Stack
We work with modern JavaScript (ES6+) frameworks, with a strong emphasis on React. If you have experience with Next.js or Astro this is a bonus, however what we are really looking for is a solid understanding of the fundamentals of JS.
Our applications are highly data-driven, so you should be comfortable working with REST and GraphQL APIs for third-party and in-house integrations.
A strong grasp of CSS and modern layout techniques (e.g., CSS Grid, Flexbox) is required, and familiarity with Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks is a bonus.
Experience with Laravel or headless CMS solutions is a nice-to-have but not required.
What to Expect
You’ll start by mastering our stack and contributing to key projects, working alongside experienced developers.
Participate in sprint kick-offs and stand-ups, gaining insight into our workflows and development processes.
Proactively identify and resolve issues, improving both the technical and user experience aspects ofour projects.
Follow best practices, including code reviews, UAT testing, and Git-based deployment workflows.
If you’re a problem-solver who enjoys tackling challenges head-on, we’d love to hear from you!
Culture
We have embraced a flexible, hybrid working culture, so pick and choose where you work, with our only preference being that you’re in the office often enough for us to get to know you.
If you are coming into the office, we work from the iconic Hillsborough Barracks, so driving or public transport are taken care of, we have an ample offering of free parking too.
We will also give you the time, space and budget to learn new technologies and further your own knowledge as a developer.
We equip our development team with a Macbook or an Apple machine, of some description.
