We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team to make sure that our projects run smoothly and our clients stay happy.

A day in the life of a Project Manager
Kick off the day with a stand up. Your project tracker is all green apart from one amber… but you’ve already drafted a note for the client about options, so no panic there!

Afterwards you’re on a call with a design and developer: they’ve uncovered a potential scope creep in a feature. You stay calm, ask the right questions, weigh impact and trade offs… by the end of the call, the decision is made, actions assigned and the project’s still on course 💪

Later, you meet a new client. They’re unsure how the process will work and have concerns about timings. You talk them through it: clear, confident, no jargon. By the end of the chat, they feel reassured and you’ve got what you need to tighten up the delivery plan.

In the afternoon you review budgets and adjust forecasts, keeping stakeholders in the loop and everything running smoothly. You finish up the day writing a status update (that’s actually helpful!). The right level of detail, the right tone and a solution orientated mindset. You send it, log off and step away knowing you’ve kept the wheels turning, the team focused and the client happy.

Prefer bullets? Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Managing multiple medium to large projects from start to finish
  • Working with external clients and internal teams across multiple projects
  • Bringing clarity to complexity: from early planning to delivery
  • Maintaining strong control of scope, budget, risk and timelines
  • Supporting strategic conversations with stakeholders, helping them define goals
  • Using Agile, Lean, Waterfall (or a combo) where they’re most effective
  • Building solid relationships with senior clients and delivery teams
  • Planning resourcing across projects and understanding where pressure is building
  • Communicating clearly and confidently- with devs, designers, clients and execs
  • Writing project documentation that’s actually read and understood
  • Facilitating workshops, retros and decision making sessions
  • Asking great questions
  • Listening deeply and responding with empathy and clarity
