Sheffield Digital is delighted to welcome TECH SY as our newest Ecosystem Partner, marking a further step in strengthening collaboration across South Yorkshire’s growing tech and digital community.
TECH SY is South Yorkshire’s dedicated ecosystem development programme, working across strategy, positioning and practical support to accelerate growth in the region’s tech sector.
Delivered by Barnsley Council on behalf of the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, the programme brings together public, private and academic partners to strengthen the conditions needed for founders and tech businesses to start, scale and thrive.
Together, we’ll amplify shared ambitions, priorities, resources and opportunities to support founders, connect businesses and shape a thriving environment for tech innovation.
A partnership with shared purpose
We’ve long recognised the important role TECH SY plays in bringing partners and stakeholders together to deepen cohesion, raise visibility and create valuable opportunities for local tech businesses, throughout South Yorkshire. By working more closely together, Sheffield Digital and TECH SY will build on this momentum, enabling us to share insight, convene conversations and support founders more effectively than ever.
This partnership will see TECH SY actively involved in Sheffield Digital activity, data and insight sharing, along with collaboration on events, content, research and strategic initiatives that benefit the broader tech community. It also strengthens links between our networks, local authorities, innovation assets and support providers across the region.
