Backlogs, sprints, user stories, sprint planning, what, when and how and making everything as efficient as possible. Sounds like a difficult task, and to do it well, it is. It also sounds like herding cats to me.
We are looking for someone who has Product Owner experience, someone who has been around the block. We don’t want someone who needs to ask ChatGPT what the difference between Scrum and a Kanban board is.
You may have a Jira T-shirt or maybe you’re more of a Trello fan. You could even be a Post-it, magnet icon and a tangible board advocate.
You will have the experience to know how to pull a Post-it note off without it curling (the proper way, apparently) and how to write a great bedtime story.
You are able to understand what’s needed and also talk technical. You can challenge solutions and push for simplicity.
The challenge we have for you is to own the delivery of 2 of our DataQI platform’s products. Sounds like juggling right – 1 product is hard enough! These products are aligned and complementary, so it does make sense.
Both are at the cutting edge and not so mature that you won’t be able to make your mark. The technology is cool and obviously has the top buzz words of the moment – AI and Agentic, so you will be working in the technology of the future and not the past.
We don’t expect you to know everything about these subjects, but you will learn fast.
You will need to be a meticulous organiser and planner. Be on top of tasks and keep the team on track.
Up for the challenge? Of course you are!
Here is a bit more detail to get you excited:
What you’ll be doing
> Owning the delivery of 2 products, ensuring high-quality, high-value iterations land sprint after sprint;
> Translate strategy into execution by turning roadmaps into clear, actionable backlogs.
> Define user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring they are ready for development.
> Collaborate closely with developers, designers, testers and stakeholders to unblock progress and prioritise effectively.
> Act as the voice of the user, representing customer needs and feedback throughout the delivery process.
> Run agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review and retrospectives.
> Manage resourcing and timelines for delivery.
> Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
What we’re looking for
> Proven experience as a Product Owner in an agile software development environment.
> Ability to manage complex backlogs and multiple workstreams with clarity and focus.
> Excellent facilitation skills. You know how to run a tight stand-up, an effective sprint planning session, and get to the heart of a user’s needs.
> Experience working closely with engineering, product design and QA.
> Strong communication and stakeholder management skills- especially balancing user needs and technical constraints.
> A natural problem solver with a delivery mindset: bias to action, laser focused on value.
> Bonus points: familiarity with manufacturing or industrial software products.
Why join us?
> Be part of shaping two impactful, intelligent platforms that are cutting-edge, modern and exciting.
> Work in a high-trust, fast-paced team where autonomy is encouraged and clarity is everything.
> Opportunity to grow into future leadership or specialist roles as the team expands (we anticipate separate POs for each product in time);
> Join a company committed to practical innovation, meaningful outcomes and genuine collaboration.
> Razor is small enough that you can make a difference and your voice is heard, and is owned by a large company. Small and agile with the might of scale behind us.
