What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Controls & Automation Technician to assemble, wire, and install electrical control panels and robotic systems. This hands-on role involves reading schematics, wiring control systems, and performing on-site installation, testing, and integration of robotics.

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on schematics and technical drawings.
  • Install and integrate panels & full robot cells on-site.
    Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and system modifications as needed.

Who You Are

  • Technical diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Electrical or related field.
  • Proven experience with industrial control panel assembly and electrical installations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics/circuits, wiring practices, panel layouts.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards.
  • Experience with PLC programming (Beckhoff & TwinCAT preferred), wiring and system integration.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and support.
  • Valid UK driving licence (if required for on-site work).
