I am currently a lecturer in artificial intelligence at Sheffield Hallam University, alongside consultancy and research work. My core interests are Natural Language Processing, statistical modelling and machine learning for public health and mental health research.
I hold a PhD from the University of Nottingham and have published across computer science, psychology, and social science, including work in Counselling and Psychotherapy Research, Energy Policy, and IEEE Big Data.
My consultancy work has included analysing clinical therapeutic transcripts, mapping deprivation patterns, and translating technical findings into outputs that clinicians, policymakers, and non-technical stakeholders can operationalise.
